In this role, you will:

• Build technical solutions that encompass data models, data integration, storage, and cloud-based data pipelines.

• Develop and maintain data lake infrastructure, data warehousing, data platforms, and data analytics tools.

• Design, build, and optimize high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines.

• Create data visualizations to empower our customers to maximize their data's potential.

• Implement data quality, governance, and security measures.

• Collaborate closely with top leadership, IT and business decision-makers, and data experts at our client organizations.

• Participate in data business development as a subject matter expert.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues in their professional growth.

Skills and experience we are looking for in our new colleague:

• 8+ years of work experience in a data engineer role.

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working in modern cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft

• Fabric, Azure, and Databricks.

• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake.

• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is highly valuable.

• Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries is a plus.

• Proven hands-on experience in building high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines.

• Familiarity with modern data products and agile development, including DevOps and DataOps concepts.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in data sales as a subject matter expert.

• A desire to leverage AI-based solutions and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
