In this role, you will:
Build technical solutions that encompass data models, data integration, storage, and cloud-based data pipelines.
Develop and maintain data lake infrastructure, data warehousing, data platforms, and data analytics tools.
Design, build, and optimize high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines.
Create data visualizations to empower our customers to maximize their data's potential.
Implement data quality, governance, and security measures.
Collaborate closely with top leadership, IT and business decision-makers, and data experts at our client organizations.
Participate in data business development as a subject matter expert.
Work alongside cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues in their professional growth.
Skills and experience we are looking for in our new colleague:
8+ years of work experience in a data engineer role.
Fluency in both Norwegian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in modern cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft
Fabric, Azure, and Databricks.
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is highly valuable.
Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries is a plus.
Proven hands-on experience in building high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines.
Familiarity with modern data products and agile development, including DevOps and DataOps concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in data sales as a subject matter expert.
A desire to leverage AI-based solutions and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
