The Global Data Analyst Digital Manufacturing & Procurement is responsible for interpreting data to extract insights, developing and maintaining databases and data systems, and designing complex data analyses globally to meet global business objectives
Your role will be:
Dashboard Development
- Dashboard building and storytelling to develop meaningful insight to the global users.
- Data collection (connecting to Data platform) to identify potential automation in data mining globally.
- Data validation and clean up to combine data between different regions to create a global dashboard. This includes working with users to understand outliers in the data obtained.
- Adhere to Ingredion standard and governance to implement global reporting standard and governance all reports published.
Continuous Improvement
- Adoption of ML/AI and leverage these technologies to global reports and analyses.
- Learn new technologies to ensure Ingredion can implement the latest technology in our ways of working globally.
- Leverage and implement other Microsoft tools such as PowerAutomate, PowerApps to improve digital way of working globally.
Stakeholders Engagement
- Provide support to the users globally on day-to-day dashboard usage (report issue, etc.)
- Prepare UAT Script (User Acceptance Testing) for all reports published and get feedback from the users globally.
- Conduct users’ training / workshop to increase report adoption globally.
- Work with global IT team to transfer the data from different system / sources (such as SAP/BY/Aspen) to Data Platform
- Connect with different stakeholders globally to receive feedback and capture the latest business needs.
Report Ownership and Data Engineering
- Own and maintain several reports within the Global Digital Operations App.
- Manage all requests from global users related to the owned reports, including data errors, validation, new visualization requests, etc.
- Enhance reports to continuously improve their performance, including refresh rates and load times.
- Stay updated on new approaches and technologies in data engineering to improve data gathering and minimize storage costs.
- Develop and implement data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
Support Local Operations
- Collaborate with local operations teams on key projects related to quality, manufacturing, engineering, and other areas.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
- Train local teams on data tools and best practices to enhance their analytical capabilities.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues in local operations.
Your profile needs this qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics or similar degree
- Work experience in Data Analyst or in related field.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
