ABOUT THE JOBWe are looking for a qualified Modeling Analyst to join our Modeling Analytics practice.  In this role, you will be responsible for applying mathematics, statistics and econometrics to understand the dynamics of the market and thus help the client in their marketing strategies. You will work closely with our Data and Consulting teams to successfully deliver insights to address our clients business questions.  Successful candidates should have deep interest in econometric modeling and the ability to derive actionable insights  from complex data.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent execution of complex Marketing Mix Modelling projects for Global markets (Prepare data, Process data, Validate data ensuring consistency & data accuracy and deliver Media results to our consulting team), which includes running econometric models on Nielsen modeling platforms. Validate Marketing Mix Model results from both statistical and business perspective. Contribute on the quality of modeling in order to meet project specifications.
  • Lead in project set up & cooperate with client consultants and project managers based in various locations to define the best approach and deliver up to schedule and as per requirements.
  • Oversee and manage complex projects for different countries.
  • Participate in internal meetings providing project support to consulting teams, explain model results and advise on client recommendations for better decisions on marketing activities and investments. Build and share expertise on mix modeling.
  • Train and support more junior team members.
  • Execute and review statistical models already built in SAS, R or Python. Sometimes, customizations are required.
  • Carry out quality controls of the model’s statistical fits, minimize errors and obtain high-quality results.
  • Present, validate and share the results of your models to internal teams, offering actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Management/Administration, or Marketing & Advertising (with a quantitative emphasis)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Advanced level of English - oral and written.
  • MS Office proficiency required. Very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Autonomous & Curious (willingness to learn and discover new areas).experience in the media industry, market research, data and measurement is desired.
  • Ability (and/or experience) to manage projects is desired.
  • Programming skills and experience (R, Python, SAS) is desired
