ABOUT THE ROLE

The Data Analyst role involves accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining large volumes of data in Excel.

Key responsibilities include using advanced Excel functions like formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP to organize and analyse data, ensuring data integrity by cross-checking information, and resolving discrepancies.

The role also involves generating reports and summaries, maintaining data quality through regular checks, and collaborating with other teams to meet data-related needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and experience working with large datasets.

Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

This position requires a highly organized individual who can efficiently complete data entry tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

Profile

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, macros and VLOOKUP.
• SQL experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in a data entry or administrative role is preferred, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred skills but not a must:

• Analytics: Python, SQL, R
• Data Science notebooks: Google Collab, Anaconda, Jupyter, Kaggle, etc
• Data platform/pipelines: Airflow, DBT, Databricks, Snowflake
• Cloud familiarity: GCP, AWS, Azure
• DBMS: Relational database system, Delta lake, Spark SQL, Mongo DB, No SQL, etc
• Reporting: PowerBI, AI/BI ML
• LLM: Hugging face, langchain, mlflow, MCP architecture, Copilot Studio, AWS Bedrock
