Vehicle Maintenance Data Analyst

Overview

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Data Analyst to join our team at our Cheswick, PA terminal.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

• Structure large data sets to find usable information.
• Create presentations and reports based on findings
• Create reports for internal team to use as a tool to guide decisions.
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
• Compile and distribute various reports using Transman, Report Manager and Excel
• Perform data entry of unit information, campaigns and recalls into Transman.
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Assist with Tranman maintenance.

Other Duties

• Communicate with satellite terminals regarding fleet maintenance records
• Assist in cross training support staff on various functions

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in an office environment is preferred
• Previous fleet maintenance is preferred
• Proficient in Micrsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must possess strong typing and 10 key skills; Minimum of 35 wpm is required
• Ability to solve minor problems and make decisions in absence of management is necessary
• Interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with outside terminals, vendors and customers.

Working Conditions 

• Primarily sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  May be occasionally required to exert up to 15 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.  Walking and standing are only required occasionally.
• The general office enviornment is generally favorable. Lighting and temeperature are adquate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Enviornment includes co-workers talking on the phone within close proximity.
• Subject to inside environmental conditions and protected for weather conditions and extreme temperature change.
• Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor.
• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Talking and hearing required to communication with and listening to others to share or receive information. May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others.
