About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive System Analyst to join our Data Solutions Center of Excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and objectives.
  • Technical Design: Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and specifications for data engineering solutions.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and data engineers, facilitating clear communication and understanding.

  • Instruction Delivery: Provide clear and detailed instructions to data engineers, ensuring they have all the information needed to execute projects successfully.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and validate technical designs and solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, technical designs, and project progress.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a system analyst or similar role, preferably within a data-driven environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, Power BI, SQL, and data modeling. Familiarity with dbt, Databricks, and Azure is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
