Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Adept at stitching data from multiple data sources, applying cleansing and pre-processing procedures to generate usable datasets. 

• Conceptualize and solve business problems with algorithmic automation. 

• Manage end-to-end analyses projects; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, give recommendations, and create insightful automated solutions. 

• Review day-to-day operation processes, identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations based on underlying analysis

• Be a steward of good data practices - robust documentation, versioning, play booking, processes, and knowledge sharing

• Conceptualize business problems and use cases with the business team and come up with algorithmic solutions that are superior to rule-based ones.

• Be an expert data modeler with required statistical, ML and programming skills to prototype and then productionize models.

• Be hands-on in developing predictive models, such as: Next Best action, churn predication, algorithmic pricing, market basket analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Management science or Economics

• Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics.

• Advanced knowledge of database querying and SQL. 

• Experience in modelling and implementing common supervised / unsupervised ML & deep learning algorithms, Python or R for data science / Machine learning would be an advantage.

• Working Knowledge of  Tableau and other data presentation tools.

• Fundamental understanding of e-commerce

• Strong time management skills and able to prioritize/balance multiple projects

• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate well with people from all backgrounds

• Willingness to learn about new concepts and methodologies in this constantly evolving industry

• Self-motivated to be able to work with minimal supervision in pursuit of a goal
