We are partnering with some of the world’s biggest QSR brands to deliver innovative solutions that transform how they do business. To help us deliver on our vision, we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help scale and support Eyecue, Fingermark’s computer vision intelligence platform. You'll be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining hybrid infrastructure across cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments.

You’ll play a key role in enabling seamless deployment across cloud, edge, and extreme edge devices — helping to operationalise computer vision and machine learning at scale.

This role can be remote and can be based anywhere in New Zealand.

About you

You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in most of the following areas will set you up for success:

•    5+ years working in infrastructure (SysAdmin, SRE, SysOps roles)
•    Confident with Linux and Windows systems
•    Strong Git and version control experience
•    Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (especially Terraform)
•    Deep understanding of AWS (see tools listed above)
•    Familiarity with networking protocols and Unifi tools
•    Experience with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes or Swarm)
•    Proficient with automation tools (Ansible or Chef)
•    Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Go, JavaScript)
•    Experience with open-source monitoring tools
