Overview

National Debt Relief (NDR) is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Enablement to lead our data enablement and product analytics team within the Data & AI organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with expertise in platform performance analysis and impact quantification, who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on data analysis. You will be instrumental in guiding the team to assess and optimize the performance, impact, and functionality of NDR’s core platforms, including Salesforce, telephony systems, client portals, and website interactions. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with senior leadership, key business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that new data is integrated into the data warehouse, strategically leveraged, and aligned with business priorities. This role demands a skilled communicator and analytics expert who can influence stakeholders, mentor a team, and deliver data-driven insights that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing data enablement analytics team, mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Serve as a "player-coach," balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on data analysis and exploration using advanced SQL (Snowflake preferred) and Python.
  • Analyze the performance and reliability of core platforms (e.g., Salesforce, telephony systems, website, client portals) to identify performance gaps and optimize functionality.
  • Quantify the impact of platform enhancements and changes on business outcomes, providing actionable insights that align data outcomes with strategic goals.
  • Identify and proactively communicate data issues, guiding robust solutions and providing clear requirements to platform and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure relevant data is accurately integrated into the data warehouse, optimizing data flow and accessibility.
  • Partner with the Centralized Analytics organization to surface critical data for reporting and analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for evaluating new data sources, assessing changes to existing data, complex data transformations, and onboarding third-party data vendors, ensuring alignment and internal communication.
  • Develop and implement data strategies that address product analytics needs while supporting broader business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic questions, define data requirements for measuring results, and build impactful solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Create compelling data stories through visualization and presentation skills, ensuring insights are effectively communicated to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in data analytics, with significant time spent in platform or product analytics roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing analytics teams, with a proven ability to be hands-on and deeply involved in technical work.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred) and strong programming skills in Python.
  • High level of business acumen and strategic thinking, with an ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable insights that align with business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, including platform, engineering, and business teams, to integrate data insights into strategic decisions.
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling capabilities, ensuring insights are presented in a clear, engaging, and impactful manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Experience in financial services or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality assurance practices.
  • Working knowledge of BI tools such as Sigma Computing.
  • Proven expertise in evaluating third-party data sources and conducting comprehensive vendor assessments.
