Key Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Analysis: As a Control Systems Designer or Engineer II, your primary responsibility will be to design, analyze, and test control system solutions for mobile mining machinery. Ensuring the integrity and efficiency of control systems is crucial to enhance mining operations
  • Technical Support: Provide essential support during the equipment assembly phase to ensure precision and functionality, guaranteeing top-quality products for our customers.
  • Software Development: Participate in software design decisions, develop specific software modules, and perform validation and testing of software and programming of electrical control systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management, product application, commercial teams, and various cross-functional teams to develop and program software controls requirements for new product controls, product features, diagnostics, algorithms, etc.
  • On-site Support: Offer on-site support by visiting customer locations, addressing sales, commissioning, and maintenance issues to uphold client satisfaction.
  • Functional Tests: Conduct thorough functional tests in collaboration with production and quality teams to verify equipment performance post-construction
  • Problem-solving: Utilize your problem-solving skills to investigate, calculate, and test solutions, maintaining exceptional quality standards in all design processes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Software Engineering with relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with mobile machinery electrical controls design and programming;
  • Familiar with Control Area Networks (CAN);
  • Experience in software programming (Labview, C, C++, CoDeSys, Python, Matlab, Danfoss Plus+1, Parker IQAN).
  • Familiarity with integrated software design and development environment (SDE) tools.
  • Can develop test plans, perform testing, and validate control systems.
  • Ability to integrate control systems with other subsystems, such as sensors, actuators, and other control devices.
  • Experience in reviewing and debugging code.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Have demonstrated ability to work both alone and in a team.
  • Self-learner with the ability to take the initiative to improve.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while being detail-oriented.
