The Opportunity:
The Data Architect will design and maintain data repositories, data lakes, data models, and resilient data ingest pipelines to meet current and future customer needs. The Data Architect will also develop data models that enable reporting and analysis on cloud-based analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain secure data repositories, data lake(s), delta lake(s), and data models.
• Ensure data stores allow robust retrieval to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop scalable and resilient data ingest pipelines that allow data streaming and accommodate structures utilized by supportive systems.
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Monitor performance of ingest pipelines and address bottlenecks / SLA issues.
• Ensure integration with reporting and analytics platforms utilized.
• Understands the Customer’s business and the impact of delivery teams on its ability to succeed
• Defines, implements, and monitors proactive and reactive metrics that provide awareness and reveal opportunities for improved performance and efficiencies
• Analyzes data and identifies trends which indicate risk in achieving the customer’s business and strategic objectives
 

Qualifications:

Required:
• An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, Management, or related field
• 8 years’ work experience in IT Service Management
• 10 years’ relevant work experience and leadership in IT Performance Management, Data Scientists, or related discipline
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, and Power BI
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Experience with various database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL
• Capable of designing and constructing new processes for data modeling and production using prototypes, algorithms, predictive models, and custom analysis
• Experience administering and using data visualization tools to synthesize and analyze large multi-system data sets
• Considered a forward-thinking leader in data management, data design/structures and patterns
• Skilled at working collaboratively in a complex environment and driving performance achievement and improvements
• Data-driven mindset of service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Strong skills in data analytics and report design and presentation
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to brief data to a large audience including Executives and key Government stakeholders

Desired:
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• ITIL V4 certified
• Experience working with Government clients

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600 - 252,100 USD
