Analyst II, Citizen Development

Job Summary:

Citizen Developers play a crucial role in driving digital innovation and efficiency by creating low-code technology-based solutions. The Analyst II will work closely with IT, end-users, and team members to streamline processes, design, and develop applications, and enhance our overall technology infrastructure. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Citizen Development

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications
• In collaboration with Sr. Manager, provide training and support to other Analysts & team members on Citizen Development methods, processes, and skills.
• Develop custom automations using low-code or no-code platforms with limited guidance and direction
• Customize and configure existing applications to meet specific business needs
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of applications to ensure functionality and user-friendliness. Form conclusions and recommend corrections and/or continuous improvement opportunities
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new applications
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the Administration department
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in citizen development and apply them to enhance operations
• Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any quantitative field (business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering) or computer science or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• 2 or more years of prior experience as a citizen developer or a similar role required
• Prior experience as leading projects as role model, coach or mentor required.
• Prior experience using low-code/no-code platforms required. Experience working with the Pega Platform, Pega Robotics, and other keyboard emulation and RPA solutions highly preferred
• Expert level proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, Macro development) and Access required. VBA programming experience is a plus.
• 3+ years LTL experience preferred
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL preferred
• Knowledge of Python and C++ preferred
• Must be self-directed with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities required
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously required
• Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information and form logical conclusions required
• Must possess a strong work ethic with flexibility in work schedule
• Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Must be able to interact well with others
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
