As part of a long-term strategic engagement with a global asset management firm, we are hiring a Senior Python Developer. The selected candidate will act as a fully dedicated resource to the client’s technology team, and will contribute to the development of advanced, scalable software solutions to support complex financial operations.

PROFILE SPECIFICATION

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  

• 8+ years of experience in Python development
  

• Advanced proficiency with Python frameworks and libraries (Flask, Django, Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
  

• Experience in financial services or data-heavy environments is a strong advantage
  

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
  

• Familiar with both relational and non-relational databases
  

• Full professional fluency in English
  

• Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative and responsive
  

• Deep knowledge of modern Python development and deployment best practices
  

• Experience designing secure and scalable architectures
  

• Familiarity with DevOps processes (CI/CD, testing automation, version control)
  

• Interest in emerging tech such as AI and machine learning
  

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  

• Ability to lead technical streams and mentor junior developers when needed
  

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Serve as a Python development expert embedded in the client’s technology team
  

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable internal tools and applications
  

• Establish and promote development standards, security, and documentation practices
  

• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  

• Support DevOps automation and continuous integration pipelines
  

• Stay up to date on Python advancements and recommend improvements
  

• Ensure high-quality code through peer review and testing frameworks
