The Opportunity
“As a Director of Product Management - AI, you will define and lead the roadmap for Generative AI capabilities on the FICO Platform. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role, ideal for a product executive with deep experience in AI/ML technologies, platform strategy, and market-driven innovation. You will drive the development of enterprise-grade GenAI services that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across FICO’s core industries—including financial services, risk and compliance, fraud prevention, and credit decisioning. As Director, you will own the long-term strategy and roadmap for GenAI capabilities, guide platform adoption across business lines, and ensure that FICO remains at the forefront of trustworthy, high-performance AI.” - VP, AI Product Management
What You’ll Contribute
Serve as the product leader for a high-performing team focused on building core generative AI services on the FICO Platform.
Define the roadmap—ensuring it remains transparent, customer-informed, and aligned to strategic goals.
Lead cross-functional collaboration from discovery through delivery, providing Engineering with clear business context and actionable requirements.
Facilitate customer-centric prioritization, effectively communicate trade-offs, and articulate value propositions to technical and business stakeholders.
Lead external engagements, including customer discovery sessions, briefings, and enablement activities across field, partner, and go-to-market teams.
Align GenAI capabilities with business and platform priorities by synthesizing input from internal teams, customers, and industry partners.
Guide development of reusable, scalable GenAI services to enable experimentation and deployment by product teams enterprise wide.
Evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform platform investments and competitive differentiation.
Actively support market readiness, helping shape collateral, training, and product storytelling that enables successful adoption and differentiation.
Represent FICO in thought leadership initiatives, including analyst briefings, customer co-development, and public events.
What We’re Seeking
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Platform PM building GenAI or AI/ML solutions at scale.
Deep knowledge of public LLM ecosystems, prompt engineering, model deployment strategies, and real-world integration of AI into business workflows.
Demonstrated ability to ship high-impact platform services in data-sensitive, highly regulated environments.
Fluency in agile product development methodologies and modern engineering practices (cloud-native architectures, API-first design, observability, and containerization).
Skilled in translating ambiguity into clarity, especially in complex or emerging technical landscapes.
Adept communicator—capable of engaging executive audiences, aligning diverse stakeholders, and making data-informed prioritization decisions.
A pragmatic, collaborative leader who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer value.
Technical fluency with a passion for delivering real-world impact—ready to shape the future of AI-powered products and platform capabilities on FICO’s Generative AI team.
10–15 years of industry experience in product management, platform strategy, or AI/ML solutions, with a demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and make high-impact, strategic product decisions in complex technical environments.
Strong understanding of the industries and competitive landscape in which FICO operates—such as financial services, risk and compliance, fraud prevention, or credit decisioning—with the ability to translate market needs into differentiated product capabilities.
Bachelor/Master’s degree in a related discipline; significant experience in platform or product leadership roles.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $140,000 to $220,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
