Product Managers at AirAsia focus on leading the product roadmap, lifecycle and working
closely with the business on enhancements/future projects. We believe in the continuous pursuit
of making things better and building a team passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.
What you will do:
Work closely with stakeholders in AirAsia to lead product vision, develop road-map and growth opportunities to enable the business to meet the demands of the business within the airline technology space.
Be the owner of product requirements, planning and execution of the product life cycle according to an agile methodology.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Look for opportunities to merge, consolidate and manage aspects of cost within the airline technology ecosystem
Work on automation opportunities to reduce mundane activities within the airline technology ecosystem
Assist in development of product strategy by understanding product differentiation and detecting market opportunities and threats.
Work closely with development and technical teams to deliver with fast time to market targets.
Work with the UI/UX and industrial designers to create wireframes, prototypes and product designs.
Work with software engineering team to work on new ideas from conceptualization to prototyping to engineering to production
Create "buy-in for the product" vision both internally and with key external partners.

Your Experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Overall 6+ years of experience with minimum 4 years in Product Management role, preferably in E-Commerce, Customer Support, Merchant Support
Experience working with Airline technology systems is advantageous.
Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Good understanding of APIs and Microservices, Data Science, UI/UX, Javascript and/or python
Good understanding of cloud (preferably Google cloud) and associated areas like app engine, pub/sub, cloud storage, monitoring, big query etc
Good knowledge of Agile processes and principles
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Prior experience working in the Travel or e-commerce domain is a big plus
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative thinker with a vision
