As an AI Engineering Intern, you will be tasked with extracting actionable insights from data and contributing to the overall decision-making process within an organization and projects.
 

You’ll engage in diverse assignments from cleaning and exploring datasets to developing cutting-edge machine learning models for predictive analytics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is at the heart of what we do, as we aim to interpret findings and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. At our 8-week AI Engineering Internship program you will:

• Develop production-ready services in Python, focusing on building scalable and maintainable APIs with FastAPI.

• Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling, storage, and query optimization, integrating databases seamlessly into intelligent systems.

• Integrate with state-of-the-art generative AI providers to build and experiment with advanced language and image models, leveraging their APIs in real-world applications.

• Contribute to our in-house Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solution, working on improving retrieval accuracy using the latest techniques and optimizing the integration of retrieval systems with generative models.

• Engage in hands-on projects using Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and popular libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver robust, testable, and clean code tailored for AI-powered services.

• Leverage essential DevOps tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins to streamline development workflows and deploy your solutions.
   

You will fit in if:

• You are currently studying in IT-related field (eg. Software engineering, computer science, mathematics) as a final-year undergraduate (MA) or a final-year undergraduate (BA) with no professional experience.

• You have students’ rights from „Studentski Centar“ that are valid during the whole Internship program.

• You are interested to understand both the technical and business sides of data.
   

You will stand out if you:

• Have a GitHub profile with projects to show.

• Participated in student projects, Kaggle competitions, Hackatons, workshops or other.

• Already participated in some internship programs.

• Are fluent in English, speak at a conversational level.

• Are able to work full time after completing the internship.

Internship timeline:

• May 25th – application deadline

• By the end of May – online testing (you can choose your preferred programming language)

• June - selection process feedback and interviews

• July 7th – start the internship program with a 2-week onboarding program in Zagreb

• September - end of the Internship program

Although we currently have openings for various internship programs, you can only apply for a maximum of two positions!
