Principal Architect – Enterprise AI

Role Overview:

As Principal Architect – Enterprise AI you will be working on a team of highly skilled engineers and researchers, focused on bringing technologies in the space of Enterprise AI  in Tricentis’ internal systems and processes. You will work with leadership across the enterprise to deliver our business AI technology roadmap and ensure that Tricentis is moving at the fastest pace possible.

Your role within this initiative will be to establish best practices for adopting AI tooling to improve Tricentis productivity, starting in the space of AI Coding assistants, and expanding to other departments. You will collect and establish best practices, advise on correct tools to use, and drive adoption initiatives and metrics

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Knowledge:

• Lead Tricentis rollout of new agentic AI technologies for Developer productivity
• Recommend solutions for Enterprise AI solutions to deliver broad productivity across the whole enterprise
• Work with research and engineering to ensure industry best practices and knowledge are percolated into our products

Leadership and Mentoring:

• You will be responsible for setting the standard, motivating the team and providing a role model for upcoming engineers to aspire to
• You will review the code and approaches of other staff, and provide encouraging, constructive feedback to improve their work product, and enhance their engagement
• You will interview new staff and provide feedback to the recruiting loop, and the candidate
• You actively involve yourself in corporate events, volunteering for speaking or presentation engagements, seeking opportunities to share your knowledge

Industry Influence:

• You will be responsible for representing Tricentis at external events, establishing and advancing our thought leadership in the space of agentic AI for testing
• As a part of our corporate culture, you will be expected to host and contribute to industry and internal events, providing engaging and educational content
• You will provide a communication channel to like-minded peers, to gather feedback from other technical leaders, ensuring we are on the right track in this fast moving space
   

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• 15 years of experience with Python
• 10 years of experience with NLP, Classical AI, machine learning or data science
• 1.5 years of experience working with and deploying language model based solutions
• 5 years of experience working with cloud AI platforms
• Strong knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks for building modular AI systems.
• Experience working with leading Agent frameworks
• Proven experience working with agent evaluation frameworks in production

Production Experience:

• Exceptional understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing.
• Experience creating development best practices and standards
• Familiarity with data pipelines and data management techniques.
• Production experience with distributed tracing.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance standards within DevOps/SRE environments.
• Experience working with and developing in containers, including management and deployment in production

Cloud Platform Affinity:

• Experience working with AWS AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock or similar
• Experience working on AWS and Azure environments for cloud training
• Strong experience with containerized deployment environments
• Understanding of cloud data storage, caching, networking and its relationship to AI products

AI Tooling knowledge

• Proven knowledge of AI enterprise tooling (Amazon Q/Copilot/Cursor/CrewAI etc)

Soft Skills:

• Proven record of presenting to C-level staff and ability to effectively document processes and author compelling articles for external audiences
