Staff data analyst (SCMA L6)

Job description: 

As a Staff Data Analyst for the Supply Chain Automation Group, you will be solving business problems related to supply optimization with a view to enhancing and scaling products/programs that reduce out-of-stock while minimizing inventory holding costs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in predictive and descriptive analytics, along with experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and improve efficiency. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Define the right success metrics for the product/program, generate actionable insights from data, build predictive models as necessary
• Work with large and complex datasets to derive insights 

• Communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner 

• Participate in experimentation design, A/B tests, product analytics, cohort studies and measuring the effectiveness of product launches 

• Prioritization and time-management in a fast-paced environment, with deep problem-solving for the problem at hand 

• Willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements 

Qualifications:      

• 7+ years of relevant working experience in a data analytics role 

• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R for data extraction and Excel for  manipulation and analysis

• Strong knowledge of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau or other tools) and data storytelling to communicate insights effectively to non-experts 

Preferred: 

• Experience with data engineering tools such as GitHub and Airflow 

• Strong knowledge of statistics, ML techniques

• Bi-lingual in English and Korean 

• Previous experience in e-commerce, consumer internet/technology, retail
