General Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director, Population Health Management, analyzes clinical, operational and financial data to drive successful performance of ambulatory care delivery sites, including those participating in value-based programs. Supports senior management decision-making by designing and maintaining dashboards to track performance trends and variances for internal and external metrics. Develops and maintains  strong analytic capability to promote operational efficiency, quality improvement and capture of value-based revenue. Integrates data from various sources to drive performance in Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer value-based programs, and to achieve targets for key financial indicators. Collaborates with clinical support staff and department management to identify data integrity issues, operational inefficiencies and opportunities for improved financial performance using data-driven analysis.

Pay Range: $29.13-$40.79

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required (if applicable):  None

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health IT, information systems, or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in health care organization, performing data analysis of clinical and/or operational information
  • Knowledge of health care operations and quality payment program and reporting requirements including HEDIS/eCQMs and alternative payment models
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer systems and overall billing processes in order to perform financial analysis and benchmarking reports to improve productivity and gain operational efficiencies
  • Ability to produce actionable reports along with analysis of data to make recommendations to senior management using spreadsheets, reports and dashboards
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint required
  • Working experience with electronic health records required, EPIC and NextGen preferred
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven ability to prepare data in an organized, understandable format required
  • Well-developed problem-solving and organizational skills
