Job Description

The Sr Data Analyst with CDK Global will support internal and external OEM clients with reporting requests. This will be done through managing and improving data normalization and monthly report processing. May also be involved in the content creation in conjunction with the delivery of Data Services products for marketing, customer service, implementation, and training. Consult with OEMs and 3rd parties to determine needs; work with Data Services team to create new data products.

Essential Functions 

  • Execute necessary steps to produce and distribute manufacturer updates to include data analysis, data manipulation, data entry and quality assurance procedures.   

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. 

  • Working closely with key stakeholders, customers, product owners and managerial staff. 

  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. 

  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures. 

  • Prioritizing initiatives based on objective analysis, business needs and requirements. 

  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects. 

  • Provide recommendations for manufacturer publications process improvement. 

Required Job Skills 

    • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience with high school diploma. 

    • 3-5 years of related experience  

    • Excellent communicator, 

    Proficient with data files and file format/types 

    • Familiar with the different types of data formats, ASCII Text fixed field space delimited, comma, tab delimited and custom assigned delimiters, XML. 

    • Text editor applications Text Pad, Ultra Compare, Beyond Compare, Foxe for viewing XML files.  

    • Windows Office applications Excel, Access.  

    • Strong aptitude managing projects and preparing business project proposals. 

    • Excellent communicator, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
