Summary: 

As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures on the Databricks platform. You will lead the data analytics team, ensuring that our data solutions are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling AI and machine learning capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities: 

Data Architecture Design: 

• Design and implement scalable data architectures on the Databricks platform. 

• Develop data models and schemas to support complex analytics and machine learning workloads. 

• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across all data platforms. 

Team Leadership: 

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts. 

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. 

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members. 

AI and Machine Learning Enablement: 

• Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement AI and machine learning solutions. 

• Optimize data pipelines to support real-time analytics and machine learning model training. 

• Ensure seamless integration of AI models with existing data systems. 

Data Governance and Compliance: 

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices. 

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). 

• Implement data quality and monitoring mechanisms. 

Performance Optimization: 

• Continuously monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability. 

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing and analytics workflows. 

• Implement cost-effective solutions to manage data storage and processing. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data architecture and database design. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in Databricks, Spark, and related big data technologies. 

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake architectures. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure). 

• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks. 

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts. 

• Leadership Skills: 

• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to drive projects from concept to completion. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Certifications: Certifications in Databricks, Azure. 

• Domain Expertise: Experience in the CPG Industry with SAP ERP. 

• Advanced Analytics: Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques.
