Summary:

Anaconda is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Level 2-3) to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of Python, Data Science and AI. 

What You’ll Do:

• Be a member of the Account Services team working on Auth, Payment, Email, RBAC and other enterprise web services that back Anaconda applications
• Help develop and maintain a microservice mix of python(fast-api) and golang apis, and a bit of the react(next-js) and angular applications that call them
• Partner with the Anaconda Platform Engineering and Security teams to help services run well as container workloads, dependencies stay up to date, and CI/CD running well. 
• Use debugging and tools like DevTools console, Grafana, and Sentry to find and fix issues
• Work across teams to plan, build, and deliver software and system changes
• Participate in on-call rotations to support teams and systems
• Apply tests and refactoring to help ensure high levels of quality
• Participate on Slack and in team meetings, reviews, and demos

What You Need:

• Experience in Backend Engineering, Web Services, and DevOps
• Authentication, Access, or Payment and SaaS experience (Stripe, WorkOS, SpiceDB)
• Some frontend experience and interest (React, NextJS)
• Examples of test automation, linting, and refactoring in your prior work
• Experience provisioning, securing, and connecting services (Terraform, Synk, Kafka)
• Good examples of applying AI to your day to day workflow
• Experience working in a high performing agile or remote environment
• Results-driven, “self-starter” approach to your work

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Anaconda, Python, or OSS community experience
• Production experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
• Experience using IaC tools or Terraform and Helm specifically
• Experience with TDD, code refactoring, or code clean up
• You’ve helped a company grow from a B2C SaaS to a B2B SaaS
• Great peer recommendations and appreciation
• Experience working in an open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company

The US base salary range for this role is $115,500-$199,750 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
