Finance Manager, Instagram

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to support the full financial picture for Instagram. This is a visible and integral role across the organization - directly supporting Instagram Product, Engineering, Business, and cross-functional leaders. You will support decisions around resource allocation, expense management, and prioritization across a full range of planning, strategic decision making, and forecasting. You’ll engage daily with business leaders, and act as both a financial business partner and strategic advisor to the Instagram leadership team.

An ideal candidate will be passionate about Instagram, have experience working with business leaders on resourcing decisions, have a demonstrated interest in data and technology, and be ready to rock and roll. This role will offer you the opportunity to understand and contribute to many facets of business and product strategy, including product analytics, market opportunity sizing, data management, and financial reporting.

• Become an integral part of Instagram’s strategy and planning processes
• Own end-to-end partnerships with a broad range of Product and Business leads
• Drive nuanced return-on-investment and impact frameworks across headcount and investments
• Perform strategic / ad-hoc business analysis as required in partnership with Instagram’s leadership team
• Independently and effectively become a trusted advisor to Instagram leadership
• Champion independent viewpoints across Instagram and Meta Finance leadership
• Collaborate with horizontal Financial Planning & Analysis teams to improve and operationalize processes related to headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance / strategic finance, business strategy, product analytics, or related professional experience managing strategic investments and strategy
• BA/BS in quantitative field (data science, computer science, economics, finance, etc.) or equivalent degree/experience
• Financial leadership across headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Experience synthesizing strategic insights and problem solving individually or in a group setting
• Experience communicating, influencing, and relationship building with business leaders
• Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a leading technology, internet or high growth company
• Experience working in a hyper-scaling environment
• Experience in data analytics, developing code, and/or forecasting (SQL, Python, R)
• Personal or professional experience across Instagram products (many IG employees manage successful storefronts!)

US$142,000/year to US$205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
