About the Role:
We are seeking a curious, experienced Senior Data Analyst to design and build client reporting solutions that will inform business decisions, drive operations, measure our performance and demonstrate our value as a company. This analytics professional services as a business partner to tech organization, operations, and care management delegation stakeholders, ensuring analytic insights are delivered to meet the established compliance or client specifications.
The Senior Data Analyst, Health Plan Reporting will be responsible for providing and maintaining infrastructure models, producing reports, and will partner with team members to create processes to increase efficiency and streamline our reporting.
Health care data is complex and vast, so you must be excited about sinking your teeth into complex problems, untangling them and communicating your findings to the team. Behind every data element is a real person, with real problems that Cityblock is working hard to address, and the Analytics team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely information to steer these efforts.
Responsibilities:
Create reporting solutions for our health plan partners based on regulatory and/or contractual reporting requirements.
Design and implement SQL custom-based solutions in DBT models to support reporting requirements and infrastructure needs aligned to our goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define reporting requirements and scale our reporting capabilities.
Manage and uphold the reporting and analytics team's enterprise reporting standards and best practices.
Automate report generation processes using Python in a Cloud-based environment to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Build analytic solutions that will inform business decisions, drive operations, measure our performance and demonstrate our value as a company.
Work independently as a self-starter on assigned tasks with the ability to research & drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field: computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, health sciences or related field; or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in the healthcare industry
5+ years of Python experience, preferably with building automation solutions
5+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in SQL
3+ years experience in advanced analytics, delivering actionable insights from data, database and big data analytics environments
Exposure to healthcare data from multiple sources, preferably payor data
Matrix organization experience

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:
$115,000 - $130,000
