We are seeking a Data Analytics professional who excels in the extraction, modeling, and visualization of data.  This role will support cross-functional teams by transforming raw data into meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.  

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for applying business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant, and actionable insights to support business decisions across Sotera Health. 

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements 
  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms 
  • Prepare and analyze data across the full pipeline: locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating, and modeling 
  • Access and aggregate large structured and unstructured datasets from multiple internal and external sources, transforming raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making 
  • Interpret analytical results, identify trends and potential issues, and develop clear, data-driven recommendations aligned with business objectives 
  • Communicate complex methods and findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and develop models to monitor trends, evaluate performance against KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to strategic business growth 

EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with quantitative focus in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or another relevant quantitative field 

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 2-4 years of proven abilities related to data mining, data analytics, data modeling, data management, business analysis, information technology etc. 
  • Proficient in Power BI and at least one analytical programming language such as Python or R; comfortable learning new tools as needed to support analysis 
  • Exposure to cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and familiarity with data pipeline concepts 
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, and scenario analysis; interest in learning or applying predictive modeling techniques 
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including internal systems and external datasets 
  • Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard design techniques for effective data analysis and presentation 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations 
  • Strong presentation skills
