Junior Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you will work on exciting data science and AI/ML projects. You will be part of the Data, Analytics and AI team and gain hands-on experience in transforming large datasets into actionable insights. Your main tasks will include : 

• Working with internal teams and customers to understand their needs and formalize their AI use cases
• Analysis of large volumes of customer data to uncover insights and patterns 
• Selecting appropriate methods and models, adapting them to customer data and optimizing them if necessary
• Creating processes and data pipelines to prepare raw data for model training and inference
• Training machine learning models, leveraging the latest tools and techniques
• Communicating the results to various stakeholders
• Working closely with senior data scientists, data engineers, data architects and cross-functional teams to support end-to-end ML pipeline development 

What you bring

• Master’s degree in a technical field 
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
• Experience with data science and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analysis tools (e.g., pandas), and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow) 
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, network technology, data storage, web services as well as software engineering and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, JIRA) is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and big data platforms (e.g. Spark, Databricks) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
• Excellent team player who enjoys working in an open and inclusive environment but can also work independently
• A growth mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to travel around Romandie
