AI Architectures Research for Safety-Related Systems Intern/Working Student (m/f/d)

Your mission:

Conduct AI/Neural Networks architecture research to contribute solutions for using AI in safety relevant systems.

  • Literature investigation about critical elements impacting neural network architectures and their use in safety relevant functions
  • Identify potential approaches and implement prototypes based on existing research.
  • Document and present your work to relevant stakeholders

Your areas of expertise:

  • Master or PhD student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a similar field
  • Ability and experience to independently conduct research and investigation on literature material and state-of-the-art.
  • Experienced with common neural network architectures and theory, CNN, DNN, LSTM, RNN and transformer. Familiar with the internals architectures such as positional encoding, embeddings, self- and cross-attention mechanisms.
  • Excellent programming skill in at least on the languages/frameworks: Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Pandas
  • Good communication skills, adaptability, the capability to learn quickly and independently as well as a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
