About the Role

As a Director focused on our applied AI and technology offering, you’ll step into a dynamic, tech-forward environment where the foundation is already in place for you to thrive. With a team of engineers, product leaders, a proven track record of successful technology projects, and an active pipeline, you’ll have the resources and momentum to make an immediate impact. This is the perfect moment to join - early enough to drive and shape the future of our applied AI and technology practice, but not so early that you’ll be starting from scratch.

In this role, you’ll be a visionary leader, combining strategic acumen and technology expertise to unlock transformational AI opportunities for clients. You’ll work directly with organizations to design and implement next generation AI tools, agentic workflows, and AI-led decision systems that solve complex problems and deliver measurable results. Your primary focus will be leading our current projects and supporting business development. You’ll be building relationships with C-suite stakeholders, identifying opportunities where AI solutions can bring value, and driving our strategic AI offering forward as a market leader in the region.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who embodies these qualities:

• Strategic and Commercial
  You stand out because you can do what few can: identify complex client challenges and craft solutions that deliver tangible value. You combine deep commercial awareness with a solutions-oriented mindset, bridging the gap between uncovering problems and implementing transformative AI solutions. This is not an implementation or project manager role - you’ll identify problems and design solutions from scratch, so a balance between strategic and technical expertise is critical. The ‘why’ and ‘therefore’ are as important as the ‘how’.
• A Leader in AI Solutions
  You have experience leading AI application programs, working closely with technical teams to design, build, and scale AI-powered systems. You don’t need to have an engineering background, but you must be comfortable leading product teams, engaging with engineers, and guiding product strategy decisions to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and business-aligned. 
• A Business Development Expert
  You have a proven track record of independently generating and managing multi-million dollar client portfolios, driving significant commercial growth. You excel at identifying opportunities, building trusted relationships, and closing high-value deals. You’re not just supporting sales, you’re leading it, creating opportunities where others see challenges, and delivering real, measurable results.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience, ideally in consulting, agency, or custom software solution environments that serve multiple clients. Backgrounds purely in-house are likely not a good fit for this role.
• 2+ years leading applied AI or advanced analytics programs for enterprises, ideally spanning multiple industries (e.g. CPG, F&B, healthcare, financial services)
• Proven track record designing and delivering AI-powered tools, workflows, or decision systems, owning the product or solution vision rather than just supporting it.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and close multi-million dollar programs; experience building and managing a portfolio of enterprise clients
• Strong fluency in AI and data technologies, with the ability to speak to not only advanced AI clients, but also with leaders that are much earlier in their AI journey.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across strategy and, product to ship enterprise-grade AI products
• Comfort navigating complex client environments and aligning senior stakeholders behind transformative solutions
