We are looking for a seasoned Business/Data Analyst to join our Finance Data & Analytics Team. In this role, you will partner closely with Finance leadership to deliver insights that drive financial performance, optimize resource allocation, and inform executive decision-making.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both financial principles and advanced analytics who can operate confidently at the intersection of finance and data.
Key Responsibilities
Translate complex business and financial questions into technical requirements and actionable insights
Aid in the design and maintain dashboards and models to support ongoing reporting, and planning
Build repeatable reporting processes leveraging Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
Partner with Data Engineering to ensure accurate data pipelines from key systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks) to reporting environments
Validate data integrity across operational data lakes
Champion data quality and governance standards for financial reporting
Ensure consistency in KPIs, definitions, and financial metrics across departments
Qualifications
Experience:
7+ years of experience in business or data analytics, with at least 3 years supporting Finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy functions
Deep familiarity with financial planning cycles, budget/forecast variance analysis, and P&L/Balance Sheet structure
Experience working in mid-to-large enterprises with complex financial systems and cross-functional dependencies
Technical Skills:
Expert in SQL for data querying and transformation
Proficient in Power BI, or equivalent BI tools
Excel power user (modeling, scenario analysis, index/match, etc.)
Familiarity with finance systems such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan
Exposure to scripting in python or R is a plus
Understanding of accounting and finance data models (e.g., cost centers, chart of accounts, trial balance, actuals vs. plan)
Analytical & Financial Acumen:
Ability to analyze complex financial datasets and uncover key drivers of business performance
Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts
Experience with forecast modeling, scenario planning, and financial storytelling
Confident communicator with the ability to engage both finance and technical audiences
Skilled at translating analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for Finance, and business unit leaders
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and present in high-stakes meetings
Collaboration & Leadership:
Experience mentoring junior analysts and setting best practices for financial analytics
Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with Finance, IT, and Business Operations teams
Agile and adaptable — thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
Education & Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, FPAC, CBIP) are a plus
