About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Pursuing Bachelors, Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science or related discipline.
Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Microsoft Excel/PowerBI, visualization tools.
Knowledge of data science methods, e.g. statistical modelling, text-mining, machine learning, topic modelling or network analysis.
It would be great if you also had . . .
Ability to interact professionally and collaborate with diverse groups including clients, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts between them.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple assignments as needed, working efficiently and meeting deadlines
What will you be doing in this role?
Designing and preparing analysis, data visualizations, report, and presentations which clearly communicate findings.
Collaborating with diverse individuals including other analysts, clients, technology experts, data scientists, and scientific subject matter experts.
Carrying out secondary research and data collection.
As part of a project team, consulting with clients to identify their needs, manage their expectations and present complex research findings
Typical projects include reports evaluating a research portfolio, interactive tools for examining a research field, organization or network, and datasets for use by institutions in their internal reporting systems
About the Team
Clarivate’s Academic and Government Consulting is a diverse group of practitioners working across the global delivering consulting revenue globally. The Academic and Government Consulting group is made up of three practice areas: Research Analytics, Reputation, and Evaluation & Assessment. Across our practice areas, there is also a wide range of skill sets (e.g., data scientists, bibliometricians, visualisation specialists, analysts, etc.). Across our different practice areas there is also a wider variety of capabilities and services we provide to clients along with different commercial and go-to-market models.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time, paid role based in the Clarivate office in London, UK.
This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
This duration of the internship will be 12 weeks.
