Part-Time Casual Data Analyst, Biosciences

About the Role

If you know how to use programming language to analyze, transform, and present data collected in preclinical studies, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Biosciences team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices! In this role, you will be based remotely in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, transform and present data from Cochlear run Large Animal Model in support of an organizational project
  • Establish scripts, execution instructions and platforms to enable Biosciences Team to undertake own data analysis
  • Support Biosciences Team data analysis needs as directed from time to time

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, bioengineering, biomedical engineering or material science
  • Experience with programming languages e.g. Python
  • Experience managing complex research projects
  • Exposure to hearing loss research
  • Preferred Experience
    • Postgraduate qualification in science, engineering, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or material science
    • Previous experience working with Cochlear Limited products and/or data
    • Experience analyzing psychophysiological data such as impedances

Salary

  • Target Salary Range: $35.00 CAD per hour. Compensation offered to candidate may vary based on work experience, education and/or skill level.

Exigences principales

  • DiplĂŽme de licence en sciences, ingĂ©nierie, bio-ingĂ©nierie, ingĂ©nierie biomĂ©dicale ou science des matĂ©riaux.
  • ExpĂ©rience dans l’utilisation de langages de programmation (ex. : Python).
  • ExpĂ©rience dans la gestion de projets de recherche complexes.
  • FamiliaritĂ© avec la recherche sur la perte auditive.
  • ExpĂ©rience souhaitĂ©e
  • DiplĂŽme de troisiĂšme cycle en sciences, ingĂ©nierie, bio-ingĂ©nierie, ingĂ©nierie biomĂ©dicale ou science des matĂ©riaux.

Salaire
