The Data Team at WeightWatchers is in a key position to shape the future of our business and products. Leveraging tens of billions of data points per year, we produce insights that enable WeightWatchers to better serve our 4 million worldwide members. We are equal partners with our peers in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and beyond. At WeightWatchers there’s an authentic appetite for data-informed decision-making across the company, and our role is to educate and empower stakeholders by leading with transparency and expanding our stakeholders’ understanding, often of deeply technical concepts.
What You Will Do
As WW modernizes, the Data Analytics team is in a crucial position to impact the future of our products and business. We are looking for an experienced analyst or scientist focused on impact to join our team who drive a data-first culture across WW. This role will work within our centralized data organization supporting both B2B Health Solutions business and In-App analytics, working directly with stakeholders from product, engineering and data science.
In this role, you can expect to:

Be a thought partner and perform ad-hoc analysis in support of Product and B2B Health Solutions initiatives

Analyze customer data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities that drive business growth.

Assist in building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track company performance.

Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and senior analysts to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis.

Work with structured and unstructured data, gaining exposure to techniques like natural language processing (NLP).

Learn and apply best practices in data visualization using Looker

Contribute to data documentation and workflow improvements, ensuring consistency and reproducibility in analysis.

Participate in discussions on data quality, infrastructure, and reporting improvements.

Continuously learn new tools, techniques, and best practices in analytics and data science.

We are at the forefront of WW strategy, collaborating with business and product (incl. growth) leaders to drive member success and business health. This is an IC role, with the additional responsibility of ensuring quality of work (via code review and pair programming) and promoting best practices (e.g. workflow development and toolset adoption) across the team. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our Data Engineering team (who maintain our data warehouse and ETLs). We expect that all of our data analysts contribute code to the collective. We all write code and we all review code.

Experience using SQL

Experience with visualization software (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

Exposure to subscription based software products, digital services and/or apps a plus

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.
