The Product team is the team responsible for developing Cognite Data Fusion as a robust and scalable platform for solving industrial data problems at Cognite. The industrial data problem is at the heart of transforming asset-intensive industries to be safer, more sustainable and more profitable. Cognite’s Cognite Data Fusion makes the operational data available at scale and adds value to the data through data processing. This enables asset-intensive industries to make data-driven decisions. Our platform is built on many different technologies, each good at solving various challenges.
3D modeling and services are core to creating a valuable digital twin for our customers. Creating, rendering and layering 3D representations of an asset provide an intuitive and effective way for our customers to monitor performance, investigate root causes and plan maintenance of their asset. The 3D visualization can manage large 3D models consisting of CAD models, Point Clouds, 360 images, and soon support for 3D models generated from videos. (Gaussian splatting). Rapid advances in Machine Learning provide a unique opportunity to innovate our product and create a distinctive and immersive digital twin experience.
The ideal candidate has led programs productionizing ML-based 3D services in one or several of the following fields: Management of 3D Cad systems , utilization of Point Clouds and point cloud surveys, Deep understand from how 3D models can be contextualized and connected to other types of data such as documents and tables. Experience from utilizing ML to classify data. A successful candidate will have an established background in managing programs, scaling systems with large data sets, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will have a strong development background with experience in software development cycle, and in delivering large cross-functional programs. You must be comfortable dealing with high ambiguity, be analytical and possess excellent problem-solving skills as some of the problems are unique to our scale.
As a Technical Program Manager in this role you will establish partnerships with other organizations across Cognite to prioritize and translate the business requirements into technical specifications. You will have end to end ownership - from defining the strategy, working with engineering to build the solution, and measuring metrics to monitoring progress on Cognite’s AI product portfolio. You will provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your programs on a regular cadence.
The scope of role for the Technical Program Manager is to help define strategy and drive execution of programs for the development of 3D based features and their integration with all the other parts of Cognite Data Fusion. You will collaborate closely with a team of managers, developers, 3D experts to deliver solutions into production.
This position offers a unique chance to work on state-of-the-art 3D technologies and contribute to transformative research with the vision of saving lives with Industrial Data. You will be part of a dynamic team of researchers and engineers who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of machine learning and image and 3D analysis in the Industrial domain. A typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks & responsibilities

• Manage business and technical requirements, design, be responsible for the overall coordination, quality, productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs and goals that you lead
• Partner with Product Management, engineers, Applied ML architects to help deliver scalable 3D services, while building mechanisms to help our customers gain and apply insights, and build road maps for the projects you own
• Track service levels and schedule adherence, and ensure the individual stakeholder teams meet and exceed their performance targets
• Be expected to discover, define, and apply scientific, engineering, and business best practices

We believe most of these should match you and your experience

• 3+ years of image analysis, 3D modeling experience
• 3+ years of experience from usage or management of 3D SW in industrial settings
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules strongly preferred
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership strongly preferred
