Job Description
- Actively shaping global digitalization in the tax environment for Automotive
- Independently establishing new digitalization solutions.
- Leading and participating in digitalization projects at the interface between business and IT.
- International working environment.
- Identifying digitalization potential to create synergies and increase efficiency.
- Conducting software-based data analyses of complex business data (SAP data, customs data, external data, etc.).
- Developing digital solutions using low-code and no-code platforms (PowerApps & Mendix).
- Creating concepts, initiating, and leading national and international digitalization projects.
- Monitoring and managing the allocated project budget.
- Supporting the change management process toward a digitalized tax and customs organization.
- Increasing company-wide visibility of the digitalization function
Main Tasks:
- Perform detailed exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
- Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
- Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, or similar.
- Develop and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and findings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into visual solutions.
- Ensure visualizations are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders and follow the governance standards
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and methodologies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on using data visualizations and reports.
Qualifications
- Completed (applied) university degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in IT or financial functions, ideally in an interface role between tax and IT.
- Basic knowledge or project experience in tax and customs law is desirable.
- Process knowledge and understanding in the financial sector, particularly capturing current and target processes, analyzing them, and deriving digitalization opportunities.
- Experience as a project manager, e.g., in the implementation of new systems.
- Experience in international projects and working in international teams.
- Expertise in SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of data analytics software such as KNIME, R-Studio, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms such as Mendix or PowerApps.
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- High level of commitment and assertiveness.
- Customer orientation and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Experience in project and process management, ideally in the field of digital transformation
- Team-oriented working style.
