📍 Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In-person team.

Over the last two decades, we’ve seen several waves of software deployment models, from on-prem to SaaS to bespoke platforms. With each wave came new deployment roles: implementation managers, solution engineers, and forward-deployed engineers.

Now, we believe a new phase is emerging: one defined not by implementing software, but by deploying intelligence

In this role, you will partner with the CEO and functional leaders to scope, analyze and solve the company’s highest-priority business problems.

You will transform ambiguous questions into structured workplans, execute rigorous analyses, and drive cross-functional initiatives all the way through measurable impact.

Ideally, you will have the following experience:

• 3–5 years in management consulting, or strategy/biz-ops roles with ownership of workstreams from concept to result.

• Experience planning and executing projects independently in a fast-moving environment.

• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets modeling and SQL; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.

• Exposure to accounting or finance workflows, B2B SaaS metrics, or AI/ML-driven products are a big plus

• Process-oriented: Skilled at breaking down complex problems into clear and repeatable steps and managing execution

• Strong communicator: Clear at explaining concepts and comfortable collaborating with both senior and junior stakeholders

• First principles reasoner: Basis is not a normal company; we are building net-new capabilities and assumptions need to be questioned. We look for people who do not just know what things have worked before, but can apply those lessons to new situations

• Company-builder: Excited to lay the groundwork, technically and culturally, as we rapidly scale

• Office lover: Prefers shouting across a room over a slack message, seeking full-time in-office in NYC

In accordance with New York State regulations, the salary range for this position is $100,000–$225,000. This range represents our broad compensation philosophy and covers various responsibility and experience levels. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. We are committed to meritocratic and competitive compensation.
