Position Specific Description

As part of our Insights and Analytics team, the Digital Analytics Specialist, is responsible for executing quantitative analytics projects and developing data-based recommendations needed to drive business decisions. 


In this role, you will focus on (a) developing analytical frameworks to address public affairs needs, community behaviors and audience segmentation; and (b) optimizing the performance of social media and marketing channels. 


The Digital Analytics Specialist drives continuous improvement around the collection, analysis and interpretation of digital campaign performance data. A successful analyst will dive into digital advertising, social media, paid and organic search, email and website data across a portfolio of concurrent digital projects. You will contribute to team wins by enhancing data accessibility and incorporating data science techniques to make relevant recommendations and conclusions, unlocking insights that tell a story behind the data. 


This role will also serve as a change agent for AI integration, driving advancements in our analytics capabilities and enabling more precise targeting, segmentation and optimization of our marketing channels to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities:
•    Partner closely with business stakeholders, including all levels of leadership, to scope, plan, manage and drive all steps in the project lifecycle.
•    Recommend and implement process improvements and act as a change agent to champion new processes/tools.
•    Identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies to improve analytics methodologies and enhance data insights.
•    Develop and implement AI-driven strategies for advanced targeting, segmentation and optimization of marketing channels to maximize campaign effectiveness.
•    Manage marketing optimization programs, including developing measurement and test plans, segmenting audiences and measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies.
•    Enable the collection, analysis and interpretation of campaign data leveraging dashboards and data visualization tools to provide accessible information and actionable insights to executives and stakeholders. 
•    Plan and implement reporting products for digital team members and business partners that communicate with executive audiences. 
•    Work collaboratively with social, web, email, content teams and leaders to identify optimization opportunities, review data trends and calibrate KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). 
•    Develop and maintain digital analytics reporting best practices for Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot and other marketing platforms and systems. 
•    Completes additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
•    Communicates conclusions, implication, and recommendations in a concise fashion to support more effective decision-making.
•    Has the ability to understand, manipulate and analyze complex data sets through hands-on analyses.
•    Develop and report on KPIs to measure performance.

 

The ideal candidate will have:
•    Proven knowledge and experience managing large scale data and analytics projects
•    Familiarity with advanced research methodologies such as customer segmentation, propensity modeling, marketing mix analysis
•    Familiarity with analytic querying languages such as Python and SQL
•    Strong analytical skills with proven ability to understand, manipulate and analyze complex data sets through hands-on analyses
•    Experience working with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for data collection and analysis
•    Familiarity with the latest AI advancements and best practices
•    Experience integrating AI into analytics and marketing initiatives
•    Preferred Certifications: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Adobe Analytics Data Analyst and Sprinklr Social Analyst Pro. Experience with customer insights and analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.)
•    Ability to communicate all analyses, findings, conclusions and recommendations to marketing and operating stakeholders

  • Maintains sample processes and data collection methods 
  • Develops comprehensive research reports that communicate conclusions, implications, and recommendations 
  • Builds and maintains core research dashboards 
  • Remains fully informed on market trends and best practices 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 2+ years
