Data and ΒΙ Consultant

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data and BI Consultant to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch BI solutions that significantly influence our clients' success. In this position, you will be key in helping clients utilize their data to achieve measurable business results.

This is a hands-on position that blends strong data and BI expertise with consulting experience to ensure our clients attain optimal results. Our clientele encompasses both large and mid-sized companies. Additionally, you will help enhance our BI product offerings and services, with a clear pathway to leadership roles. This position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Resposnibilities

• Deliver end-to-end BI solutions to our clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. This includes gathering requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create and deliver compelling, client-specific product demonstrations that showcase the value of our BI solutions and drive sales.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand our BI product capabilities and service offerings.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of BI solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven proficiency in Power BI and MS SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles, dimensional modeling, and BI best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex client needs and translate them into effective, user-friendly BI solutions.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new data processing frameworks and technologies.
• Solid experience in documenting technical systems, processes, and solutions.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and time-tracking methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
• Passion for mentoring and supporting junior team members, with a desire to foster their professional development.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Analytics and Python.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. in Analytics, MS Fabric).
