Data Analyst Intern

Description

• Developing, testing, and implementing interactive data models from a variety of sources
• Collaborating with leadership and operations to develop, refine, and adjust financial forecasts; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; supporting shift from static reports to dynamic and interactive reports

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Financial Management.
• Ability to determine and clearly communicate benefits of change in advocacy of process improvements
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
• Comfortable with autonomy and is self-motivated

Desired Skills

• Experience in building interactive data visualization dashboards using Power BI and similar self-service reporting platforms
• Database experience
• Advanced Excel experience, including Power Query and Power Pivot. Experience should include M formula language and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
