AI Backend Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic and architecture of our software applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain services and applications.\
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch.
• Understand system designs and correct them where needed.
• Design the code, develop the tests.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain APIs for web, applied and mobile applications.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Mentor junior developers and lead backend projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in popular web development frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong software engineering skills, including system design, development, testing, debugging, release, and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in Python (required), REST APIs, and at least one other object-oriented programming language such as Swift, C#, Go, or Java.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of building responsive and visually appealing web applications.
• Experience with Selenium/WebDriver test suite for automated browser tests.
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies, with experience using Git for version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications or relevant coursework are a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently in a rapidly changing environment with ever-changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms as Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries and tools.
• Strong presence of strategic and business thinking.

Compensation:

Competitive gross monthly salary starting from 3200€ to 4200€, based on experience and qualifications.
