Machine Learning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various operation teams to develop, deploy and maintain machine learning models and computer vision algorithms aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency, productivity and improve decision making.
2. Design and implementation: Design and implement machine learning models and computer vision systems for quality control, defect detection, and process optimization within manufacturing environment.
3. Application Development: Develop user-friendly applications to facilitate the deployment and utilization of machine learning models and computer visions systems in production settings.
4. Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of deployed models to ensure their accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for machine learning models, computer vision systems and deployment processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
6. Project Updates: Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on project progress, share insights, and collaborate on problem-solving strategies.
7. Ensure on time delivery of the tasks and projects. 
8. Meeting and exceeding management and peers’ expectation on the department services quality.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering (or a related field)
2. Strong programming skills in Python, R or other relevant languages.
3. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
4. Familiarity with computer vision libraries like OpenCV.
5. Knowledge of application development and deployment tools.
6. Understanding of data manipulation tools like Pandas and NumPy.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts.
