In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Ensuring the quality, integrity, and governance of metadata across the organization’s data landscape. 
  • Be a strategic partner in a team responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining metadata standards and practices to support data governance, data lineage, and data management activities. 
  • Support the creation of a comprehensive metadata management strategy aligned with the organizations data governance and data management objectives. 
  • Partner with technology and business partners to adhere to metadata standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of metadata across various data domains and systems. 
  • Direct and provides guidance on the analysis and design of data models and logical databases at the data element level consistent with the corporate architectural models. 
  • Support the design and implementation of metadata repositories and tools to capture, store, and management metadata effectively. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including data owners, data stewards, and IT teams, to gather metadata requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Support data lineage and impact analysis activities by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of metadata documentation and lineage mappings. 
  • Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8 – 10 years of experience in data modelling/warehousing with related management experience, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Risk, Compliance and Financial domain experience and/or experience working on Regulatory reporting is a plus. 
  • Experienced hands-on Data and Metadata Management, from concept to implementation with a demonstrable track record of delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure. You will have strong analytical and management skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution. The ability to apply backlog prioritization to define sprint goals and enable iterative deliveries is key.
  • People Leadership, be able to inspire and build momentum across a global team but you are also a team player, happy to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Collibra implementation experience is desirable. 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974  to $149,880 . Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
