Description

The Operations & Business Analytics Department at IE University´s Business School invites qualified applicants for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level, starting in September 2026.

The Operations & Business Analytics Department focuses broadly on empirical research in operations and supply chain management, quantitative methods, decision making, and data analytics. Methodologically, the department’s focus spans both non-experimental (e.g., econometric modeling) and experimental (e.g., field experiments, laboratory experiments) approaches. Accordingly, we look for candidates with an empirical research orientation, including but not limited to past or current work in the decision sciences, data analytics and applied statistics.

Successful candidates will be expected to publish in top-tier academic journals, teach data analytics courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels, interact and work closely with faculty across disciplines, and provide intellectual leadership in their area of expertise.

Proficiency in Spanish is not required from applicants, nor for career progression. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
