JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Bisanz lab (bisanzlab.com) at the Pennsylvania State University, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (University Park, PA) is searching for a part time research support staff to help dissect the human gut microbiome. This position will be for a limited term. The candidate will be responsible for analysis of research data, aiding in preparation of manuscripts, and other tasks necessary for maintaining lab operations.

The candidate will be required to have a recent BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The candidate must have experience with complex synthetic microbial communities, and the metagenomic tools required to study them. Expertise in R, Python, and C are required.
