Insights & Analytics Specialist

The Insights & Analytics Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our company mission to discover, develop, and provide innovative products and services that save and improve lives. This position will focus on leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced statistical methods to derive insights from complex datasets and present qualitative and/or quantitative findings in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Market Research: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze market intelligence, competitive landscape, and customer feedback, helping to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Reporting: Develop and automate reporting dashboards and tools to provide real-time insights for key stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven decisions are made effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support that guides strategic initiatives and enhances customer engagement.
  • Project Management: Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that timelines are met, and outcomes are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders, facilitating data-driven discussions and strategic planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within analytics and reporting functions, recommending, and implementing solutions.
  • Data Sourcing: Manage the process of acquiring and adjust audits and data sources with external providers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, market research, or insights generation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, R, or equivalent; advanced Excel skills are essential. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about data trends and implications for business strategy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required), with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Experience in experiment design and A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Certifications in data analytics or related fields (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Google Data Analytics Certificate).
