To support our ambitious growth and optimize decision-making across Retention Marketing and Regional Management, we need a strategic and hands-on analytics leader. This role is more than just managing numbersit’s about shaping the direction of our commercial and product initiatives with accurate, impactful insights.
You’ll be the cornerstone of our analytics capability, ensuring we build a culture where data is embedded at the inception of all major initiatives, where testing is rigorous, and where decisions are driven by statistically sound, sometimes uncomfortable truths.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, fostering a high-performance, insight-driven culture

  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership (including Exco), supporting strategic and operational decisions.

  • Be deeply involved in analytics work—this is not just a leadership role.

  • Champion a culture of data-informed decision making across departments.

  • Guide the implementation and evolution of A/B testing frameworks, ensuring statistical rigor and relevance.

  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of insights even when those insights are unexpected or challenging.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Regional Management to identify opportunities and evaluate performance.

  • Collaborate closely with the data delivery and platform teams to ensure alignment of data governance and strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement of our data infrastructure, tools, and processes, and encourage the adoption of new technologies including a cloud data framework.

  • Promote the consideration of data strategy at the inception of all key commercial and product initiatives, ensuring development teams have considered data as a deliverable in every project.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively

  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals

  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations

  • Proven experience leading analytics or data science teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and hypothesis testing (A/B testing, confidence intervals, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to distill complex analysis into actionable insights for executive-level stakeholders.

  • High proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics/data science tool (e.g., Python, R).

  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments and regions.

  • A passion for uncovering truth through data

  • Solid understanding of retention marketing principles and product performance metrics.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends

  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations

  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards

  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies

  • Experience in the online gaming, tech, or e-commerce sectors.

  • Familiarity with gamification, personalization engines, or CRM data structures.

  • Exposure to customer segmentation, lifecycle analytics, and predictive modeling.

  • Understanding of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Airflow).

  • Background in agile or cross-functional teams working in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong awareness of data governance, privacy, and compliance practices.
