Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to support our Autodesk Fusion Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in Design & Manufacturing. Reporting to the Director of Product Management – Fusion Manufacturing, you will assist in driving the strategy for AI solutions across Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Simulation. Your role is essential to the growth of Fusion, focusing on harnessing AI to enhance workflows and deliver innovative capabilities that meet the unique needs of consumer products and the CAM market. This involves supporting the setting of clear objectives, effectively communicating the strategy internally and with our community, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure the precise, efficient, and groundbreaking application of AI.

As a hybrid-first workplace, you will collaborate with teammates globally and travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face meetings, including conferences, team offsites, and customer engagements. If you prefer office life, we have offices in various cities in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for Fusion’s AI Solutions across Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Simulation

  • Assist in embracing a customer-centric approach to define objectives and initiatives, focusing on business value and collaborating with development teams to create pioneering AI capabilities

  • Contribute to the adoption of AI-driven methodologies in design and manufacturing, fostering a culture of innovation and forward-thinking across the organization

  • Aid in driving AI-driven advancements to reshape production lines, streamline operations, and improve efficiency

  • Assist in prioritizing the product backlog to ensure the incremental delivery of business value

  • Collaborate with Fusion Design, Fusion Operations, Fusion Manage teams, and AI research teams to streamline AI-driven workflows across the entire process chain

  • Work with the Autodesk partnership team to ensure integration of cutting-edge AI technologies

  • Communicate status and deliverables to stakeholders and gather feedback for the engineering team

  • Actively engage and foster communication with the Fusion community

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated involvement or support in the successful implementation of AI products in the market

  • Versatile experience in business development, software engineering, and initial touchpoints with product management

  • Basic domain knowledge in Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Simulation, with an understanding of unique challenges and opportunities

  • Understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in AI, with the ability to leverage this knowledge to shape product strategy and drive innovation

  • Ability to support the definition of objectives and initiatives with a focus on business value and customer needs

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with the Fusion community, stakeholders, and engineering teams

  • Ability to work with globally distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, experience design, operations, sales, service, and management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the CAD/CAM market, with a focus on AI and automation

  • Skills in AI-driven Design, CAD for Manufacturing, and Model-Based-Definition (MBD)

  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate to ensure alignment with product goals and integration of their technologies

  • Familiarity with scrum/agile methodologies

  • Experience in Design for Consumer Products, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges in this domain
