The Regional Sustainability and Finance teams aim to ensure adherence to the Group Non-Financial Reporting Framework and improve data quality, performance management, and control processes amidst evolving non-financial regulations.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director in Europe (with a functional reporting line to the Regional Head of Sustainability), the ESG Data and Compliance Controller will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data and monitor compliance with local ESG regulations and standards, in coordination with Group Sustainability and key functions within the Group and Region.
Key responsibilities:

Partner with Functions, Markets, and Maisons to support non-financial reporting, sustainability performance analysis, and risk management, aligning with Group policies. Implement local measures for compliance with reporting standards, including gap analyses.

Improve ESG data quality for locally managed data through best practice benchmarking. Support the evolution towards a performance-driven sustainability framework and provide project management and data analytics support.

Collaborate with Group Sustainability, L&D, and Heads of Functions/Markets to deliver training on ESG reporting and compliance, identifying local training needs.

Work with Group and local Compliance and Legal teams to ensure compliance with ESG reporting and due diligence, providing advice to regional stakeholders and staying updated on evolving standards.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Technical knowledge of sustainability performance management and ESG reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ESRS).

Knowledge of internal control systems.

Working knowledge of sustainability practices, laws, and regulations.

Excellent data management and analytical skills, including ESG data analytics.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Hands-on and long-term planning skills with the ability to lead multiple projects in change management.

Fluency in English (other languages are advantageous).

Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in finance, accounting, or sustainability roles.

Track record of implementing standards, reporting, and processes.

Experience or strong interest in the luxury sector.
