II - Who We Are Looking For?  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning, with a proven track record of developing and deploying data-driven solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools. Demonstrates the ability to switch between multiple concurrent projects while staying focused and productive, and quickly learns and adapts to new tools and technologies as needed. 

III - What Will Be Your Responsibilities?  

(i) Develop and deploy advanced data science models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. (ii) Perform in-depth data analysis to extract insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions. (iii) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data science solutions. (iv) Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning fields. (v) Optimize existing models and analytical processes for improved performance and efficiency. (vi) Implement code quality and continuous integration best practices to ensure robust and reliable solutions. 

IV - What Is Required from You?  

(i) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's or PhD degree is a plus. (ii) Experience: 5+ years in data science, leading data-focused teams and deploying complex models and predictive analytics. (iii) Expertise: Deep expertise in Python and R, including advanced proficiency with key data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch; expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn); proficient in end-to-end model lifecycle management: data analysis, preprocessing, training, validation of GenAI models, and containerization (Docker); experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and advanced database proficiency (NoSQL/SQL). (iv) Knowledge: Expertise in database technologies, with advanced proficiency in at least one of NoSQL (e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB) or SQL (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) for complex data analysis. (v) Skills: Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and flexible, with strong leadership and project management skills. (vi) Language: Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken) for effective communication with international teams and clients. (vii) Competencies: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to conduct comprehensive error analysis and refine models; excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, insightful reports, and compelling presentations; proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams; strong business acumen to deliver actionable insights aligned with organizational goals; experience proactively monitoring model drift and assessing data quality to ensure reliability, fairness, and consistency in production systems; commitment to self-driven learning and adaptability to company-specific contexts.
