This role ensures compliance with DG policies, designs and delivers impactful training, and monitors DG practices. The role is pivotal in promoting data stewardship, enhancing data quality, and embedding DG principles into the organizational culture.
As a Senior Specialist a typical day might include the following:
- Collaborate with the Global DG Team to design and implement comprehensive training programs, ensuring alignment with evolving DG knowledge and industry best practices.
- Lead initiatives to integrate DG principles into recruitment, induction, and professional development processes.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars to elevate DG proficiencies across all organizational levels.
- Utilize technology to improve training delivery through e-learning platforms and virtual environments.
- Act as a DG advocate, working with Data Stewards to drive cultural and behavioral changes vital for a mature DG environment.
- Establish and coordinate monitoring and auditing processes to ensure continuous improvement in DG practices.
- Partner with ECM Experts, Technical DG Experts, and Business Partners to implement the DG plan, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Drive communication and collaboration among partners to ensure cohesive DG practices across departments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and enforcement actions, assessing their impact on DG practices within the biopharma industry.
- Promote the importance of DG across all departments, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
This role may be for you if you have:
- Proven success in designing and managing training programs.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with training management systems and e-learning tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear guidance.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, including GDPR, FDA Guidance on Data Integrity, and cGMP & GDP standards
- Experience in cultural change management and organizational development.
In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BA/BS degree and 5+ years of professional experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience in pharmaceutical/FDA regulated work areas such as: data management & operations, quality assurance, compliance, manufacturing operations, quality control, or IT. Experience in cultural/people change management and organizational development and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g. GDPR), rules, policies, and procedures such as FDA Guidance on Data Integrity, EMA Data Integrity Guide, and WHO Guide to Data Integrity. Knowledge of cGMP & GDP.
