Title: Data Analyst Job Group Category: Exempt Type: Full-Time
Unit: Operations Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 40/week
Direct Reports: No Reports to: Director of Partnerships & Programs
Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Partnerships & Programs team and the whole organization in maximizing its technology, data analysis and utilization and for aligning the data and technology strategies of the organization with our Partner Agency network.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Management, Analysis and Utilization:
- Maintain and analyze incoming data from Partner Agencies relating to neighbor pantry usage data, surveys, feedback
- Maintain and analyze incoming data from Retail donation pounds reports
- Synthesize data to provide updates to Partnerships & Programs Managers and Retail Team so that they can proactively address issues
- Develop the tools necessary to monitor FNEFL network performance and track trends, to be used to create and implement strategies, in consultation with supervisor and leadership, to support the mission of FNEFL
Program Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of Feeding America’s Meal Connect platform for capturing retail donation activities internally and through the FNEFL Partner Agency Network
- Lead the implementation of Feeding America’s Service Insights on Meal Connect (SIMC) platform internally and through the Partner Agency Network
Training and Technical Assistance:
- Provide training to FNEFL staff and FNEFL Partner Agency Representatives for Meal Connect and SIMC
- Assist with technical difficulties and provide ongoing support as needed
- Conduct orientation on platforms for new FNEFL and Partner Agency staff when relevant to their position
Relationship Management & Development:
- Engage Partner Agencies using targeted outreach as specified by the guidance of the Partnerships & Programs team
- Identify and remove barriers that prevent Partner Agencies from fully utilizing data platforms (computer literacy, equipment access, internet connectivity)
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with community based, nonprofit organizations
- Outstanding outreach, organization, compliance, and customer service skills
- Ability to set own priorities and work independently
- Background screening and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license and insurance with good driving record
- Advanced computer skills, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn new computer programs
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to occasionally attend work functions outside regular work hours, on weekends and evenings, as needed

Work Environment:
This position is in an office/warehouse environment and requires a flexible schedule and travel to accommodate FNEFL events. Work is performed indoors and outdoors with regular exposure to all weather conditions. In instances of a federal, state, or local declared emergency, FNEFL is typically considered an essential service and emergency responder; all employees may be called in to perform regular or emergent duties.

- Ability to use a computer to accomplish the position's duties, including writing and seeing
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to communicate oral and written expectations and establish priorities
- Frequently lifting, bending, carrying, reaching, and pulling with hands and arms, and moving materials up to 50 lbs
- Required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
